Product Overview
The Argentum SILVER.sonic-16 BAS-2203 is a high-quality
speaker cable with two symmetrically stranded signal conductors.
The conductors consist of 95% high-purity 6N silver
(pure.SILVER.Ag, 99.9999%) and 5% OCC copper strands.
With a cross-section of 2.08 mm² per core, the cable offers
excellent conductivity, precise transients, and a neutral,
finely detailed sound image.
Voices and instruments are clearly separated and presented with
excellent spatial clarity.
Technical Construction
The inner conductors consist of six bundles, each constructed from
28 × Ø 0.12 mm pure silver strands and supplementary tinsel strands
Ø 0.19 mm.
The LD-PE insulation (Ø 4.0 mm) keeps the electrical structure stable.
Cotton fillers reduce micro-vibrations, while Mylar foil stabilizes
the geometry.
The pearl-white PVC jacket with a tightly woven cotton braid protects the
cable mechanically and offers a premium tactile feel.
Signal Purity & Sound
The symmetrical conductor geometry ensures very low interference
and enables low-loss transmission.
The 6N silver content provides precise contours, fine treble resolution,
and natural tonality.
The sound image is open, spatially clearly layered, and free of harshness.
Mechanical Stability
The double PVC jacket with textile cotton fabric prevents abrasion,
kinking, and structural deformation.

The gold-plated connectors in a metal housing with a carbon fiber sleeve offer

Spade and tube banana plugs are included in the scope of delivery and can
be exchanged without tools.
