The Argentum SILVER.xlr-15 BAS-2202 is a balanced high-end XLR cable for precise, low-loss analog connections in studio, stage, and high-end HiFi environments.
Two multi-strand inner conductors made of pure.SILVER.Ag in 6N purity (99.9999%) ensure outstanding conductivity, exact impulse response, and exceptionally clear, finely resolved sound reproduction.
Neutral tonality, high dynamics, and superior spatial imaging make the cable ideal for high-quality audio chains.
The signal cores are embedded in HDPE insulation, which ensures low capacitance and stable electrical properties.
Double shielding consisting of aluminum foil and dense TC copper braiding reliably protects against electromagnetic interference.
Mechanically, the cable is stabilized by a PVC inner jacket, filler material, and cotton fabric.
Robust XLR plugs with 24k gold-plated contacts and carbon fiber shells ensure low contact resistance and high long-term stability.
Technical Construction
Each of the two inner conductors consists of 21 × Ø 0.12 mm pure silver strands, which are 21-fold stranded.
This construction combines high conductivity with mechanical stability and precise signal routing.
The HDPE insulation (Ø 2.0 mm) minimizes capacitive loads and supports distortion-free transmission of sensitive audio signals.
A filler (Ø 1.33 mm) and a cotton braid further stabilize the cable and reduce mechanically induced vibrations.
