The Blackberry SPADE/BANANA BB-108 is a high-quality speaker cable supplied as a pair, designed for high-resolution connections between amplifiers and speakers.
Each cable combines two stranded cores made of fine-wire OFC copper and tinsel strands.
This construction enables low-loss and dynamically precise signal transmission with clear spatial imaging and stable musical presence.
LD-PE insulation and textile fillers increase structural stability.
A paper layer, a flexible inner jacket, and an air-chamber structure improve resonance control and increase mechanical damping.
The black PVC outer jacket with dense textile braiding reliably protects the cable from abrasion, bending, and mechanical influences.
The gold-plated, interchangeable connectors with robust metal sleeves are clearly marked and can be used as both spade and banana plugs.
Technical Specifications
Each of the two cores consists of six bundles, each with 19 OFC strands (Ø 0.12 mm) and six additional tinsel strands (Ø 0.19 mm).
The resulting cross-section per core is 2.3 mm², which corresponds to a cable gauge of approximately 13–14 AWG.
The LD-PE insulation (Ø 2.6 mm) keeps the conductors electrically stable.
An inner tube (Ø 3.0 mm inner / Ø 5.0 mm outer), paper tape, and two-component fillers increase mechanical strength and improve damping.
The outer jacket consists of durable PVC with Ø 7.8 mm and is fully woven with a black cotton braid.
