The Blackberry XLR BB-106 is a balanced audio cable supplied as a pair, designed for high-quality analog audio connections using XLR connectors.
Three stranded OFC conductors with precise HDPE insulation ensure low-loss and stable signal transmission.
The combination of aluminum foil and dense copper braiding provides reliable protection against electromagnetic interference and prevents hum or RF interference.
PP fillers stabilize the internal structure, while the robust PVC jacket with a dense, black woven cotton braid ensures high mechanical stability, flexibility, and a long service life.
The gold-plated XLR connectors with sandblasted metal shells and color coding ensure clear channel assignment and a secure fit.

Technical Design
Each of the three conductors consists of 19 fine-wired OFC strands with a diameter of 0.127 mm, which together enable a stable, low-impedance connection.
The HDPE insulation with a diameter of 2.1 mm improves electrical stability and minimizes capacitive effects.
An aluminum foil forms the inner protective layer.
Over this lies a braid of 80 bare BC strands with a diameter of 0.12 mm, providing additional EMC safety.
The PVC outer jacket with a diameter of 8.0 mm is covered with a high-quality black cotton braid that dampens vibrations and increases mechanical durability.

The balanced construction effectively suppresses interference and ensures clean and neutral audio transmission.
Due to the low contact resistance of the gold-plated connectors, fine resolution, dynamics, and spatial imaging remain precisely preserved.
