Blueberry SIGNAL.hdmi2.1.aoc BB-020

Hybrid HDMI 2.1 cable made of fiber optic and OFC copper with 48 Gbps, 8K support, gold-plated die-cast zinc connectors, and a robust PVC/cotton jacket. Ideal for long AV installations.

Product Overview

The Blueberry SIGNAL.hdmi2.1.aoc BB-020 is a hybrid HDMI 2.1 fiber optic and copper cable for high-resolution AV installations.

Four OM3 multimode fibers transmit high-speed data with absolute minimal loss, while seven OFC copper conductors provide power supply, control channels, and eARC.

This allows the cable to reach a stable transmission rate of up to 48 Gbps and support modern HDMI 2.1 features such as 8K@60Hz, Dynamic HDR, VRR, ALLM, and eARC.

The 19-pin HDMI connectors are made of robust die-cast zinc and are 24k gold-plated, ensuring a durable and corrosion-resistant connection.

The flexible PVC jacket with a dense cotton braid reliably protects the hybrid structure from mechanical stress.

The BB-020 is ideal for home cinema, professional media walls, AV studios, and installations with long cable runs.

Technical Construction

The cable combines four OM3 multimode fiber optic cores for the high-speed data channels and seven OFC copper conductors for power supply and low-speed signals.

The internal converter chips in the TX and RX modules ensure precise signal processing and stable data transfer, even over long distances.

The connectors are housed in sturdy metal casings and equipped with 24k gold-plated contacts.

The outer PVC jacket is mechanically reinforced by a blue-black cotton braid while remaining flexible enough for tight installation paths.

Signal Purity & Image Quality

The optical OM3 fibers eliminate typical issues of classic copper HDMI cables, such as attenuation losses, RF interference, and bandwidth limitations.

Due to the combination of fiber optic and OFC copper, the signal remains stable even over long distances.

The gold plating of the contact surfaces reduces contact resistance, while the metal housing improves EMC stability.

This enables clear and error-free 8K transmission with clean HDR mapping and stable audio transmission via eARC.

Mechanical Stability

The PVC jacket with cotton braid reliably protects the hybrid construction from abrasion, bending stress, and tensile forces.

The die-cast zinc housings of the connectors provide additional stability and prevent damage from frequent plugging.

The construction remains flexible yet robust enough for installation ducts, rack mounts, or mobile setups.
